Celebration of Cultures and our 60th year!

ACS celebrated the school's diversity and our 60th year at the annual Celebration of Cultures! We had 30 nationalities represented where our community wore their traditional outfits, shared cultural information and food, and entertained us with their national performances.

This year was a special Celebrations of Cultures; ACS also celebrated our 60th year!
Thank you to everyone who has ever been part of the ACS community over the last 60 years!

Come join us this Friday with your family for a day full of fun! Wear your national dress and join the parade to celebrate ACS's diversity with 30 countries participating!

We're also celebrating our 60th anniversary where you can stroll down memory lane in the MPR and meet up with old friends and teachers. Don't miss out!

Communication

Dear Parents,

Communication was the focus in March. Communication is the KEY which unlocks all the doors to a successful and fulfilling school life experience.

Teaching can be a rewarding profession, but it is more than just imparting knowledge to students. A large part of teaching is about being able to communicate effectively to everyone in the classroom and in the school. When effective communication is missing, teachers can misunderstand or be ignorant of student’s needs and expectations. Furthermore, students may not feel listened to or understood and they may start acting out in other ways to get their needs met.

We will continue to work together for lifelong success.
