Dear Parents,
Welcome back after an enjoyable break. I hope you all enjoyed the holiday. The weather was a bonus and I hope you all had the chance to enjoy the outdoors.
Communication was the focus in March. Communication is the KEY which unlocks all the doors to a successful and fulfilling school life experience.
Teaching can be a rewarding profession, but it is more than just conveying knowledge to students. A large part of teaching is about being able to communicate effectively to everyone in the classroom and in school. When effective communication is missing, teachers can misunderstand or be ignorant of student’s needs and expectations. Furthermore, students may not feel listened to or understood and they may start acting out in other ways to get their needs met.
Children have to be educated, but they have also to be left to educate themselves. ~Abbé Dimnet, Art of Thinking, 1928
